Ayesha Jatoi es una artista paquistaní, que vive y trabaja en Lahore. Nació en Pakistán, 1979.
Ayesha Jatoi se formó como pintora miniaturista en el National College of the Arts en Lahore (Pakistán) y como fotógrafa en el Colegio Nacional de las Artes de Lahore. Fue una de las editoras fundadoras de la revista de Arte y Cultura Contemporánea, publicada en Lahore, Pakistán.
Su práctica explora primordialmente la relación simbiótica del texto y la imagen en los manuscritos tradicionales y la división espacial de estas "páginas iluminadas". En la obra de Jatoi, el texto se libera a sí mismo de la imagen. Aún estando inmersa en la estética iconográfica local antigua, cuestiona simultáneamente la relevancia de la construcción de imagenes hoy en día con modos tradicionales; resultando en una práctica que toma formas híbirdas.
